From August 25 to August 27, 2023, children from family-type orphanages and foster families of the Transcarpathian region, together with their parents, had the opportunity to rest in Slovakia.

Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Latskov, who represent the Slovakian company Umakov in Prešov, and thanks to Mrs. Vera Potasova, who is the head of the public organization "Podaj dalej", 29 children and their parents had three days of incredible recreation.

The children visited the "Visual Illusion Center", walked along the path at the top of the trees in the High Tatras, visited thermal pools, got acquainted with various types of exotic birds and reptiles at the "Klokochina" ranch, and rode horses. The leisure program also included bowling. Each child also received sports backpacks with sweet gifts as a gift from the public organization "Podaj dalej".

This is the first such joint project of the NGO "Zakarpattia without orphans" and the NGO "Podaj dalej" with the support of the private company "Umakov", which provided financial support (logistics, food, accommodation, leisure) for children from orphanages and foster families together with their parents. I express my sincere thanks to the couple Latskov and Ms. Vera Potasova, for their big heart and desire to give unforgettable impressions, happy and positive emotions to children. Also, I would like to express my special thanks to the volunteers from the NGO "Podaj dalej" Ms. Vaselina and Ms. Tatiana, who took care of the families all these days, worried about each of them, and ensured the maximum comfort of their stay in Slovakia for our children.
