Today is November 13, and this year it is the Day of Prayer for Orphans. Wherever you are today, you can stop and ask Heavenly Father for mercy and protection for all orphans, both physical and spiritual.

On the eve of the NGO "Transcarpathia without orphans" in cooperation with the House of Culture of the village Storozhnytsia, for family-type orphanages and foster families from Zakarpattia Oblast, held a "Day of Prayer for Orphans". The program of the day of prayer included the holding of master classes. One of the master classes was conducted by Oleksandr Prygar's mother-educator, who taught the participants how to make trench candles correctly and better. The children were happy to learn and make candles, and to make the candle unique and unique, the children pasted them with various wishes and drawings for soldiers. The children managed to make more than 20 such candles. No less interesting was the master class by father-educator Serhii Kamenev, who showed and taught how to make a periscope for the military from new sewer pipes. After all, such a simple thing can save many lives of our soldiers.

 And in the lobby of the House of Culture, the invited guests had the opportunity to see and buy various products made by orphan children who, above all, want to support the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And that's why they made the most valuable gifts, because the desire to help arose in their little hearts. And the proceeds from the sale, UAH 6,300, and the products made at the master classes will be donated by the children to the needs of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of the Transcarpathian region.

The program of the Day of Prayer for Orphans continued with a festive concert, where children from family-type orphanages and foster families participated. Our friends from the "New Family" family home (Uzhhorod), the "Kovcheg miru" children's center (Mriupol), and the choreographic group "Faytenyat" (Storoznytsia) also took part in the concert program. There was no limit to the variety of children's talents. The guests of the concert had the opportunity to see the playing of various musical instruments (accordion, bandura, violin, domra, guitar, xylophone). Dance and acrobatic numbers ended with thunderous applause. There were humorous skits, and the children's recitation of poems did not leave any audience indifferent, because the poems were a prayer for our soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for Ukraine...

Our guest from Mariupol, a chaplain and the head of a separate unit of the Mariupol HSP — Volodymyr Zavadskyi, greeted the guests and led a prayer for the orphans. Svitlana Yakimelina - the head of the Service for Children of Zakarpattia OVA and Olga Lazoryk - the deputy head of the Kholmkiv TG spoke with a welcome speech to the audience.

Also among the guests who did not leave the Day of Prayer for Orphans unnoticed were: Irma Kosta - director of the children's service of the Uzhhorod RDA, Bohdan Adamchuk - secretary of the Kholmkiv TG, Viktor Snitsarenko - head of the territorial center of social services of the Kholmkiv TG, and deputies Mykhailo Gotra and Mykhailo Piegan of Kholmkiv TG. Many thanks to all the guests who came to the holiday concert, bought children's products and supported the soldiers. Our "Children's Battalion" contributed to our joint victory over the evil that invaded our Ukraine at dawn.

Allow me, first of all, to thank our soldiers from the Armed Forces, who defend us and protect our children. THANK YOU GUYS!!! YOU HAVE NO EQUAL!!!
