Today, November 10, 2024, is the All-Ukrainian Day of Prayer for Orphans. And the day before, the public organization "Transcarpathia without orphans" in cooperation with the cultural center of the village Storozhnytsia, with the support of Natalia Kryvoruchko, head of the Family Support Center of the charitable non-governmental organization "SOS Children's Towns of Ukraine", a festive concert was held, which was attended by family-type children's homes and foster families from various parts of our Transcarpathia.

The festive program was full of various performances, premieres, and the initiation of new collaborations. Talented children from different families enchanted the audience with their singing, recitation of poems, choreography, and playing the violin. Each of the children showed their talents and inspired other children to dare and try to find their hidden talents. Each number was unique and unforgettable.

And the members of club formations at the BC village. The caretakers gladly received the guests and prepared interesting "gifts" for them. Yes, the premiere of the result of the collaboration of the choreographic circle "Faytenyat", directed by Olha Barna, with the ensemble of the Tarnovets Children's School of Arts, ed. Nataliya Kalinska, vocal of the choreographic "project" — "Varenychki".

Another premiere at the holiday concert was the mini-play "Ripka" by the younger members of the theater group "Storozhnytskyi luminaries" director. Elizaveta Posypanka.

A new cooperation was born with the choreographic department (teacher Istvan Kekerchen) and the vocal and choral department (teacher Oksana Golovnia) of the Chaslivet School of Arts. The students of the art school performed unexpected and unique numbers.

The holiday concert is over. But our festive program continued. Theatrical group "Storozhnitsky luminaries", directed by Elizaveta Posypanka, prepared a gift for all the guests present. "Korythei" performed a performance that is already known at the Kholmkiv OTG - "The Legend of the Red Ribbon". The audience watched with delight the fate of the characters in the play. And when the performance ended, thunderous applause rang out for a long time and the actors were not let off the stage....

Such a festive concert for the Day of Prayer for Orphans has been held for many years. We constantly pray for orphans, foster parents, foster parents, guardians, mentors, for every child to have a family, for those people who have dedicated their lives to helping orphans. Together with parents, we support them in discovering their talents. On this day, parents also have the opportunity to take a break from their daily duties and feel the importance of their vocation.

Thanks to the good deeds, families receive gifts. And most importantly, adults and children, they all draw a lot of unforgettable and unique emotions and impressions, which is the goal of our annual event.

But all this would not be possible without God's blessing and our heroes-defenders who protect Ukraine from the Russian invasion. Thank you, our HEROES and may the Lord bless and protect you every day.
