On January 31, 2026, we resumed the educational program “Moral and value aspects of developing healthy lifestyle habits in young people.”
We usually conduct this program in Uzhhorod, but this time, thanks to the International Network of Carpathian Foundations and financial assistance from Fondation de France, we are conducting training in the village of Nyzhne Selyshche, Khust municipality. Participants include teenagers who are under guardianship, from family-type orphanages, foster families, as well as teenagers who were forced to leave their homes due to the war and found refuge in the aforementioned community. During the first meeting, the teenagers got to know each other, learned more about the training program, and worked productively on the first topic. The teens and their coach, Oleksandr Solyanyk, discussed values, how to identify true values and how to distinguish them from false ones. A trust exercise was conducted during which participants came to the conclusion that trust cannot be one-sided. Trust always exists when two parties consciously create a safe environment for each other.

That's how we spent our first meeting. We look forward to future meetings where teenagers will have the opportunity to gain experience in making the right choices for their successful future.
