💛 The first lady Olena Zelenska together with Petro Dobromilskyi - the deputy head of the Transcarpathian State Administration visited the "Kovcheg Miru" children's center in Seredny.

The cell was evacuated from Mariupol at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and has been operating in Uzhgorod Oblast for almost a year. Today, about 40 displaced people from Kherson and Mariupol live here in 12 newly built modular houses. These are families with children and young Ukrainians, whose parents died in the war and who are cared for by the founders of "Ark of Peace" - the spouses of Volodymyr and Oksana Zavadskyi.

During the visit, the wife of the President, together with the management of OVA, inspected the compact modular town, talked with the pupils of the center, their parents and guardians. The first lady also handed over gifts to the children before the beginning of the school year.

💬 "Meeting people who help and save is inspiring like nothing else. After all, the activity of the center is based on spiritual principles: instilling respect and promoting the development of healthy values in everyday life," said Olena Zelenska.

For his part, Petro Dobromilsky emphasized that the comfortable accommodation for the displaced people was built and equipped with the support of foreign partners from Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

💬 "Adequate conditions for studying and recreation have been created here for children. Specialists work with them, organize informative lectures, presentations, games, etc. Also, at the center, younger people undergo a special program of physical and psychological rehabilitation," said Petro Dobromilskyi.

The deputy head of the region thanked the first lady for her visit to Transcarpathia and support for the families of forced migrants who found safe shelter in our region 🫶🇺🇦
