12 small houses for 48 people - a modular town was presented in the village of Seredne in the Uzhhorod region. The project "New Home for the Children of Mariupol" was implemented with the support of the Slovak Agency for the Development of International Cooperation. More than 205,000 euros were allocated by Slovak partners for furnishing, furniture and communications. The children's playground was built with the support of OVA of the region. We are talking about a family from Mariupol, which takes care of children and took them to Transcarpathia. At first, they lived in a house allocated by the religious community, which was empty for several years, and later it was reconstructed and renovated, now it will serve as a development area. And now there is a modular town nearby. On January 1, there was still nothing, on March 30 the houses were already built, at the end of June - the opening, the first families began to live. By the end of the year, the territory will be arranged. But you can already live. After all, children are our future, dedicated organizers, and they need support in difficult times, especially orphans! Therefore, the implementation of the project in Svaliva is a very necessary matter. Currently, there are 81 children in the Svalyavsky Orphanage, 21 of them refugees. Age - from 3 months to 5 years, now there are children up to 9 years old. The opening of the modular town in Seredny is scheduled for June 22. And in Svaliva on June 23. The Slovak delegation will also arrive. In addition, a third project in Vynohradov was announced. Slovak partners say that we cannot help everyone, but at least we will try to help mothers and children who fled the war. This is Slovakia's real support for Ukraine in difficult times.
